The Sag Harbor 22' is a modern boat with a classic heritage.
The hull was designed by noted Maine lobsterboat designer Calvin
Beal Jr. The boat is available in a center console, bassboat,
or cabin configuration. With a 9' beam this boat is remarkably stable.
Her flat run enables her to plane easily and economically run at
cruising or full speed. A small cutaway keel keeps her running
straight yet allows her to turn a tight radius comfortably.
Her widely flared bow and deep forefoot give a dry, comfortable
ride when conditions get rough. The boat pictured above,
powered by a single150 HP Yamaha, with a crew of four, and100 gals.
of fuel on board, was clocked at 38MPH.
The hull and console are built of solid, hand laid fiberglass construction.
Two longitudinal foam filled fiberglass box beams support the deck and
console and create an incredibly strong and stiff hull. This boat is
built to the commercial standard that working fisherman expect in their
boats, and that recreational users deserve.
There is no other boat available of this size, with the
combination of beefy construction, comfort, and style as
the Sag Harbor 22'.
